The Parador la Silla is a rest area located along the man-made road over the sea Pedraplen that connects Cayo Coco with the main island of Cuba, see the interactive map below. You’ll find there a snack bar with very affordable prices, and a lookout tower from which you can admire the surrounding mangroves, the lagoon, and colonies of flamingos. Prime flamingo-watching season is April to November. There’s no public bus that stop at Parador La Silla, the place is mainly visited by people who are traveling by car.
